rest in peace

Why is it when we die the statement is "rest in peace."?

My view;

Life is about change and change is not peaceful. An individual who never knows conflict, challenge, or strife has not lived. We rest in Peace because there is nothing more we can change.

Two things are eternal. Love and Hate. Love because we constantly seek it, Hate because it is so easy to find.

tools

The Lodge gives us tools.
The Work teaches us their use.
The Brothers help us keep them .
The Use of them is up to us.
